Water Conservation
Our accommodations will feature water-efficient technology, including low-flow fixtures and smart systems optimize usage.
We will also implement rainwater harvesting and greywater recycling to conserve while ensuring a comfortable stay.
Waste Management
Kernel Farms will operate under a zero-waste philosophy, aiming to divert as much waste from landfills as possible. We will implement comprehensive recycling and composting programs for both guests and staff. The goal is to recycle paper, glass, and plastic waste and compost organic materials such as food scraps, which will then be used to fertilize our onsite gardens and greenhouse.
Biodiversity & Ecosystem
Kernel Farms prioritizes biodiversity and ecosystem preservation. We will use native plants in our landscaping to provide habitat for local wildlife and prevent the spread of invasive species. The resort’s grounds will be carefully managed to protect local flora and fauna, including maintaining wildlife corridors and planting pollinator-friendly flowers to support bees and other pollinators.
